The coordinator and main researcher of the STOP Depression project is Prof. João Salgado, in representation of the University Institute of Maia (ISMAI) – Maiêutica, Cooperative of Higher Education CRL and the Psychotherapy Research Laboratory of ISMAI. This laboratory is part of the Psychology Center at the University of Porto.

Team coordinator

The research team of the STOP Depression project is composed by a diversity of professionals and researchers in the field of psychology and economic health.

The STOP Depression project has a diversity of partners, namely: North Regional Health Administration (ARS Norte), which involves the Western Porto health center units (ACeS Western Porto); The Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC TEC); SKA agency – Brand Development (SKA); Arkimedes (Norway).

The project consultants are two prestigious researchers in the field of psychology: Prof. Heleen Ripper of Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Prof. Pim Cuijpers, also from Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam (Netherlands).
